A Miscellany... 

Here are some general pictures of the garden that do not fit into any category in particular.

(L) A sight to gladden the heart of any gardener. Spring must be just around the corner. (R) I included this crocus because it was the first picture I took with a new digital camera. 

 (L) One of my favourite plants, Gold laced polyanthus have to be mollycoddled to keep them going in our soil. (R) I am constantly surprised at their variation in colour. This "chocolate" version is my real favourite.

 (L) Double blue Primrose, "Little Boy Blue". (R) I really like the pentagon shaped centre to this auricula.

Whilst I am not a great fan of tulips, I make an exception for "Isabella"
